So I have returned to this sandtrap after spending an awesome two weeks in Philippines. It had been seven years since I last visited my home country...and much needed. I stayed in Manila the whole time and don't regret it because this city had alot to offer in terms of art, music and night life. The beer taste better over there too. 
I have took alot of pictures and videos. Although the weather had been freaky - I welcomed the rain with open arms. Which also made me sick but still..welcomed.
So I'm back and I have a couple of months before I start classes again. I plan to skimboard, do more art, take more pictures and learn the bass. Yes, I will become a musician. bwahahaha!!!

Sadly yes, I have been very busy this month. No I don't want to give any explanations....No, I really don't...*sigh* ... OK FINE! (oh - you're good..)
So this month was my mom and dad's birthday month! so with all the surprise parties and eating and MORE eating , my hands were kinda preoccupied. I have spent a good amount of time with my relatives...I think I'll be good for about 3 months. heehee.
School's out btw, yes I'm done with Spring Sem ~ YAAAAHOOOO!!! I passed in my finals this month and got grrrrrrreat results! I can't post my animation final..but I will update this blog later and post up my FND final drawing. I drew my Dad ~ Jr got a wittle jealous. :P

One of my oldest friends Raul came down for a month and that's what we have been doing every weekend. Bruises and Bumps are a must but we got the hang of it and now...I can gliiiiiideeeee. Here some Photos. Hopefull I can update this again and you can see the video :)

May May May... Had some ups and downs with work, love and family but its sorting itself out and it's getting better.
So I'm off to the Philippines in June to buy some stuff for the wedding and maybe sneak in some fun! haha - just kidding.

Work has been slow but I seriously have to pick up the pace on my assignments. On a happier note, I have been filling up my sketchbook with erm..sketches. I will upload them later on - so stay tune for that.
I've been asked by my florida cousin to make a family crest. Yes, apparently I'm royalty. He wants it for a tattoo but I haven't found the time to do it. Hopefully soon. I've never made one before so lets hope it doesn't suck.

Well, today was like any other day besides the fact that I think I'm losing my mind.
Explanation? sure...
Part of my normal routine on a working day is that I head to our pantry and make myself some tea and take a slice of bread and lather it with jam. Strawberry jam. When I went to work yesterday, I brewed my tea and then got my slice of brown bread and then went for the jam. I was very happy to see that there was a brand spanking new jam jar awaiting me. The last one was almost on empty. Anyways, I completed my mission and got out.
Now TODAY, when I went to the pantry to fulfill my morning ritual, I couldn't find the new jam anywhere but saw only the old jam jar instead. I asked my receptionist where was the new jam that she had bought yesterday. She replied saying she did not buy any new jam yet.
Huh??
I asked if she was sure and she said yes.
So there you go. My screw is lose. I'm hallucinating. I've gone coo coo.
I don't think I would have made up something like that in my head. It's just strawberry jam!
I call this incident - "THE CASE OF THE MOO MOO (ghost in tagalog) JAM JAR!"

I guess today isn't as normal as I thought.
It's been raining all weekend here in the superficial city of Dubai. Don't get me wrong..it's all good. Because after the rain is definitely the heat..and the heat out here is bad. It's like frying-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk bad. Only thing about the rain is that drivers here are assholes. Putting on their hazards and truck drivers driving at top speed. Idiots.
Well I'm late on my reading and assignments this weekend. Like I said, still in spring- break mode.
I've lived here for a while and I put my hands in the air for the people trying to bring something new to Dubai - to the art and music scene mainly, the two things I can't live without. Even in this time of global crisis. They just do their thing. So support your local talent, wherever you are.
This year, I hope that I can make my mark as well. Long way to go as different priorities keep popping up but I know I have people that will support me. Just need to get my ass into gear.
I don't know what it is about rainy days...you think. Perhaps it's the rhythmic patter of water. Or maybe it's how calm and laidback people are on days like this. Oh, and drinking soup. yeaaa...
Well I don't have any pretty pictures to post up today. I bought a Nikon f75 last week (her name is Aiko) so I will post pictures from that camera once I finish my first roll.
Alright, that's about it from me. I'm going to sit outside my balcony a while longer and enjoy the cool wind and the drizzle.
